Preliminary performance ratings for the SRT-engineered Viper V-10 is 640 horsepower and 600 lb-ft of torque - the most torque of any naturally aspirated engine in the world.
The Tremec TR6060 six-speed manual transmission has been improved with a shift lever shot shorter, closer gear ratios and final drive ratio, which has been reduced to 3.55 from 3.07. 2013 Viper models will be more attractive to drive and the maximum speed is now achieved through the 6 th place with the maximum engine speed (red line) at 6,200 rpm.
From a more rigid structure that provides 50 percent more torsional rigidity, the chassis of the Viper SRT-2013 benefits from numerous improvements - many learned through racing efforts with Viper GTS-R and competing models Coupe.
